quaranteam reading alone with friends

Quaranteam is a simple app created in light of the COVID-19 pandemic to give parents of home-bound students a fun, competitive way to keep their minds engaged while out of their current routine - by reading.

Simply create an account and then add one or more “teams”. You decide how your teams’ points will be awarded, and then track your progress by adding books to your team’s Book Log as they are read.

For example, our family is divided into two teams: Kids and Parents. We’re awarding the kids (ages 4, 6, and 9) a point per page read for chapter books, and a 5-point flat rate for any “toddler” books that the older two read to the youngest. Parents get a point per page as well.

For each team, you’ll have the option to share a “Connect Code” - a unique code that will add other users’ teams to your list so you can see their progress as well.

If you have any questions, find any issues with the app, or want to connect teams, contact me here.
